Segment 7 – “The Last Annunciation”

For many, Christmas is for spending time with family and creating family traditions. For some, this is a hard time of year. Imagine what it must have been like for Mary and Joseph bringing a new life into this world and doing that in a stable. When we think of that scene, so often we think of a clean place and that the manger is an ideal place to lay a new-born baby. However, a barn is actually a dirty, smelly place and a manger is a feeding trough for the animals. How could God have chosen that as the birth-place for His Son?

The Last Annunciation takes a look at how Silas, a hypothetical stable hand who was supposed to have cleaned the stable for the young couple. Written by Tom Diffee with music by Steve Richards, starring Ella Matthewson and Tom Diffee, and with an intro by John Brotnov, this is our Christmas gift to you.
