Hello friends,

It was so great to see you all at the Kickoff on yesterday. I really enjoyed getting to know you a bit better, and I’m excited to work with you all. I hope you left at the end of the day energized and looking forward to rehearsals.

Speaking of rehearsals, they start this week. Below you’ll find details of the rehearsals for the this week plus a preview of upcoming weeks. This year will be a bit different than previous years since we’ll be rehearsing in different places throughout the week. The basic schedule will look like this:

This Week

Monday, September 14

Choreography Rehearsal, Gold Creek Community Church

Kids and adults will rehearse in separate rooms.

• Kids/teens: 7:00-8:15 pm
• Adults: 7:00-9:30 pm

Note that these rehearsals are critical for helping you learn the choreography and how you fit in with this big number. It’s difficult for everyone when someone is missing, so please make every effort to attend and be on time.

Please wear or bring modest clothes you can dance in comfortably. Also, wear or bring shoes you can dance in comfortably (e.g. tennis shoes or dance shoes) and no flip flops or sandals.

Tuesday, September 15

Music Rehearsal, Woodinville Alliance Church Chapel

Steve will work through many of the numbers in the show with the ensemble.

• Kids/teens: 7:00-8:15 pm
• Adults: 7:30-9:30 pm

What to bring: Your music book and a pencil.

Thursday, September 17

Drama Rehearsal, Woodinville Alliance Church Chapel, 7:00-9:30 pm

The following characters will do a read-through of the whole script:

Sunday, September 20

All Cast Rehearsal, Wagner Performing Arts Center, 2:00-5:00 pm

We’ll rehearse scenes 1, 2, and 3. This is for everyone in the cast in these scenes, including ensemble and characters.
